Theatre
The remains of Medeina's theatre doesn't easily reveal its original
purpose. Beyond the two large parts of the outer walls, little else is
in place. Stones lie all around, with grass growing wild in between.
The
lower photo contains important information, as this is the passageway
vital to the functions of a Roman theatre, leading down into the
underground chambers where people and animals could be held.
Capitol
The Capitol is today little but the original platform together with small pieces of columns.

Temple
This temple, dedicated to unknown deity or deities, stand next to the
Forum and the Capitol. A few interesting inscriptions on the columns
remain. The inner sanctuary has man-high walls, but stones lie all
around destroying the experience.
House of Sixteen Bases
This
building is named after the unusual reliefs on the bases of the
inner portico. Each of them has its own unique relief, of which some
show human bodies or faces. They do slightly resemble tombstones of the
tophet at Carthage, and may belong to a Punic cult involving child
sacrifice.
